Tenuta Ulisse Pecorino Terre di Chieti IGT Abruzzo, Italy

Of uncertain origin, the Pecorino grape has been grown for centuries in the central regions of Italy and produces a dry, medium bodied wine that is somewhat of a cross between a Pinot Gris and a Sauvignon Blanc. It has a fruity aroma with citrus and tropical nuances, white peach and papaya. It has a lingering, fresh taste with a slightly balsamic finish.

Tenuta Maccan Pinot Bianco DOC Friuli, Italy

Cielo 3 Passo Vicenza, Italy

A muscular wine, unique for complexity and harmony. Made with a 3 step (3 passo) winemaking approach: 1 part of the grapes are dried and on the vines to get more natural sugars and a better concentration, 2 the resulting must is partially over-pumped in a cold bottom tank to extract sweet tannins and dark colour, 3 wine is refined in wood to enhance smoothness and longevity.

De Conti Appassimento Puglia, Italy

With a garnet red colour, the nose is a harmonic and fine blend of dried cranberries, currants, nutmeg and pepper. In the mouth it is vibrant with ripe berry fruits and smooth with velvety tannins. The very long finish features the typical notes of the "Appassimento" technique, that is raisins and spices.

The 13th Century Ormanni Estate is located right in the heart of Chianti and proof of the incredible history of this Tuscan family property can be found mentioned in Dante Alighieri's 'Divina Commedia'. Chianti Classico is often considered the highest quality for Chianti and this is no exception. Brilliant expression.

Cusumano Nero d'avila IGT Sicily, Italy

This wine is made from top quality Nero d'Avola grapes grown in the unique climate of the island of Sicily. Nero d'Avola is an indigenous grape local to the area and something of a Sicilian specialty. The wine has intense ruby colour with violet hints. A rich bouquet with dark berry and pomegranate notes. The taste is velvety and structured, a robust red with a long finish.

Amaranta Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Abruzzo, Italy

Viberti 'Buon Padre' Barolo DOCG Piedmont, Italy

Located in the village of Barolo in the northern Italian region of Piedmont, wine was originally produced from the estate vineyards exclusively for the family restaurant after which this wine is named; the Trattoria al Buon Padre. The reputation of Viberti Barolo spread leading to demand beyond Piedmont. Today the wines are superior quality, world-class Barolos.

Messapi Primitivo IGP Puglia, Italy

The name Primitivo translates roughly as ‘early one’ referring to the variety's early- ripening nature. Known for producing inky, tannic wines that are both intensely flavoured and deeply coloured, it is commonly accepted as the historic grape behind southern Italy's flagship wines.

Port Phillip Estate 'Quartier' Pinot Noir Mornington, Vic

This wine is a beautiful representation of the typical Mornington light bodied pinot noir style, with excellent structure and depth. It has an expressive nose with plenty of red cherry and strawberry notes with spice hues. Fresh and juicy, it is classically matched to duck and other game dishes but also perfect with salmon and pasta.

Howard Park Pinot, Great Southern

Dark hued in the glass with a bright ruby core, this wine possesses deep brooding tones counterbalanced by it's light and fresh strokes. Swirling aromas of charred earth, dark cherry, sage, milk chocolate, strawberry and clove enliven the wine creating a pronounced and vibrant nose. A weightiness in the palate ensures that every crevice is coated in luscious, fleshy fruit, yet a tart cranberry acidity follows closely behind maintaining a crisp structure and dry finish.

Mitolo ‘Angela’ Shiraz McLaren Vale, SA

A classy McLaren Vale Shiraz of enormous appeal; typically generous with powerful, ripe fruit intensity, but also incredibly approachable.
